We had absolutely no problems with flights or luggage! The food on the KLM flight to Amsterdam was surprisingly good for airplane food, by the way! As of today, we have gotten into our hotel rooms and have an hour or so until we have to meet up again with the group. There are other groups from Cecil County, York PA and San Antonio. All the other groups are also small so I think we'll have a lot of chances to make new friends.
Our hotel has an amazing location- right in the city center of Madrid! Everything is walking distance! From all y years of living here, I never stayed so close before!
Now, we are a bit tired, but that'll fade. For today we will go to the Prado museum and have a walking tour of the city and then have dinner!
